Lucknow: A meeting of the Divisional Facilitation Council, Lucknow, was held at the Export Bhawan auditorium under the chairmanship of Vijay Vishwas Pant to address the issue of delayed payments to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).
The council reviewed a total of 38 cases during the meeting. Of these, 20 cases were taken up for conciliation, while 18 cases were presented for resolution through arbitration. The council conducted hearings in all matters and issued necessary directions to the concerned parties present.
In addition, eight new references were submitted for registration before the council. In one case, proceedings were closed after the payment was successfully received by the concerned enterprise.
The meeting was attended by Anil Kumar, who also serves as Member Secretary of the council; Manish Pathak, Lead District Manager of Bank of India; and Sanjay Kaul, representing the Indian Industries Association.

Concerned parties related to the listed cases were also present during the proceedings.
The council reiterated its commitment to ensuring timely payments to MSMEs and facilitating a fair and efficient dispute resolution mechanism to support the growth of small enterprises in the region.
